Even though the course is held at the Franklin County Sportsmen's Club, you cannot enroll in the course through the Club.

You MUST enroll through the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.

This free course also satisfies the state training requirements to apply for a Mass LTC. (Some local police departments may require additional training. Prospective students who are taking the course solely to obtain an LTC should first check with their town licensing authority to verify that town's specific requirements.)

Once or twice a year, dedicated and talented FCSC members, who are certified to instruct Hunter Education, teach a Hunter Education Course at FCSC through the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.

Please check the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife website frequently to find out when a Hunter Safety Course is being offered near you.

The course fills up very quickly!
