Monthly Club Meeting
We meet on the third Wednesday of every month, at 7:00PM. Members, please try to attend the monthly meetings so you can learn what is happening at the Club and contribute your ideas and knowledge to help make the Club even better!
4 Hour Annual Work Commitment
FCSC members are expected to contribute a minimum of 4 hours of time per year to the Club. This commitment can be fulfilled in a number of ways:
- Help at one of the Club Work Bees
- Join a Committee (Membership, Finance, Range and Safety, Field, Publicity).
- Help at one of the Club's Public Events (Stone Age Skills Day, Black Powder Day, Registered Trap, Family Archery Day, Beginning Skeet, Turkey Shoots, etc.)
- Help with Club Maintenance (empty trash into the dumpster, clean bathrooms, clean classroom, pick up brass and trash on ranges, etc.)
- Help with the Mowing
- Help at FCSC's booth at the Franklin County Fair
- Cook at one of the Summer Club Meetings, Registered Trap or one of our Events
- Be a candidate for the Board of Directors.
If you are unable to contribute 4 hours of work time to the Club, you may make a payment of $10 per hour in lieu of the time. Thank you.
It is the time, energy, ideas and talent of Club Members that make our Club a great place to shoot!

New Membership Application Process
Effective 2/17/13, the club has a new procedure for “New Membership” applications, which is described on the new “Become a Member” page of our website. This applies to people who have never been a club member before and to people who have not been a club member for six months or more, who now want to return.
The significant changes are that, starting 2/17/13, all new applicants will be interviewed by members of the Board of Directors before their applications are approved.
(Please note that this new process does not apply to current club members. The renewal process remains the same. Please visit the new “Renew Your Membership” page of the website when it is your time to renew. You will find your membership expiration date on your membership badge).
Non-Member Sign In
All guests must fill out and sign the guest waiver of liability form as soon as they arrive at the club and BEFORE doing any shooting.
In accordance with Club rules and to comply with club's insurance provider, all non-members who wish to shoot as a guest of a Club member are required to be accompanied by a Club member and are required to complete a waiver of liability form. This form is available online and at the clubhouse.
The host member must insure that these forms are completed properly and left in the lockbox on the wall inside the club meeting room. There is a $10.00 guest fee. All guests must remain with and be supervised by their host club member.
Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers to help with the mowing. Please email Ray Samson or call him at 665-3711.
Rifle Range
Please shoot at breakable targets on the right side of 100 yd. range. Remember, only authorized targets, clay birds, water jugs, but clean up your mess after.
Please leave the left side of the 100 yd line with the cables for the paper target shooters. Please do not shoot at the cable or poles.
Shooting at less than 100 yds requires that your target be elevated from the ground and not placed n the ground itself. This is a safety issue to eliminate rounds skipping off the ground and bypassing the protective berm at the end of the range.
Club Email
From time to time the club sends out email from the website to club members who have provided an email address. Sometimes we have faulty email addresses in our database and so some this mail is returned undelivered. If your address is bad and you provided us with a phone number in the contact form we will call to confirm the correct email address. If there is no phone number provided, we will simply delete the email addrfess to prevent further bounces.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit the Become a Member page, which describes the application process.
