MENTOR NIGHT
The Franklin County Sportsmen’s Club would like to bridge the gap from getting your LTC or FID card to becoming a responsible, safe shooter. To accomplish this, we will bring back MENTOR NIGHT free to members. This simply is when new and/or inexperienced shooters can hook up with more experienced shooters to learn how to handle their guns in a safe manor and get tips on how to shoot and actually hit what you’re aiming at. They may also learn how to disassemble and clean their fire arms safely.
This will be offered to club members by reservations only on the particular date to ensure each member can have a one on one coaching experience. Members are required to bring their own fire arms (transported safely and legally), their own ammo, eye protection, and ear protection.
Mentors, if you would like to assist with this please let me know and I will only contact you if there is going to be a new shooter scheduled here to be coached by you. You can certainly use this time towards your 4 hours of volunteer time.
Members, contact me and we can reserve a spot with one of these guys.
Mentors and mentees can contact me at bobgoss64@gmail.com.
Scheduled for June 11th at 6:00 PM
